Bridge the Gap

There’s nothing worse than that empty, out of place gap that throws everything off. It brings the most awkward feeling of incompleteness and unjust due! This couldn’t be more true when it comes to communication. When you’re struggling to have a meaningful conversation with that colleague, but the connection just isn’t happening, you feel annoyed and helpless. The two of you are just standing there, neither one of you knows what to say or do next.

Just awkward. Just annoying.

It’s scary how the world of communication is being hit with so much negativity these days. It’s just one misunderstanding after another. People are unknowingly offending each other and then there are those who are constantly misinterpreting what others are trying to say to them.

Where do you fit in? Are you a part of the problem, or part of the solution? Do people listen to you when you talk? Do people understand you when you talk? Does your communication with people create drama or solve problems? You have to ask yourself these questions, no matter who or where you are. Messages are being thrown around every day – good and bad. People are paying attention to everything that is being said, no matter the outlet, delivery or content. Tweets, Likes, Scopes definitely play a part in getting powerful messages across. Unfortunately, a lot of gaps are being created as evolution in technology continues to take place in a world of constant growth and change.

Be a part of the solution and prosper.

With all the social media savvy and smart phone-mania, there is one constant factor that will never go out of style or fade out. That factor is you. How you interpret, how you communicate…how you deliver. These things will never get old, which is why you need to assess and learn where you stand. Don’t only become part of the solution, but benefit from it as well. You can improve your communication skills and watch your world change for the better!

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I come from a world of constantly being shut down to the point where I had zero confidence in myself as a communicator. I’ve been labeled a hermit, introvert, weirdo…the list goes on. People weren’t interested in what I had to say or simply couldn’t understand me as far as I was concerned. But I learned that I am a good communicator, I need to practice what I have. Well, today I can tell you that I’m actively helping others bridge that gap in their communication. I’m helping them get their message to their audience and make a real difference. Real talk!

So I encourage you to take that step. It doesn’t matter if you’re introverted or can’t put the pen to the paper. You have a vision, a message that needs to get out there in the healthiest way possible. The Kill The Drama Communications Course will be here soon to help you bridge that gap and go to the next level of success!
