Let’s face it, the same thing over and over again, year in and year out. The same struggles, the same hurdles and obstacles.

The same questions!

You’ve reached a point where you’re facing a corner and you’re not sure which way to turn. Life has done a number on you once again, but this time you’re fed up and you want to do something about it, but you just don’t know what that something is.

The REAL 3am moments, worry and sadness are at an all-time high and something needs to be done before it consumes you completely! I’ve definitely been there…the sleepless nights, frustration and desperately trying to foresee how everything will turn out. Well, as we go into 2016, I realize that we have to be prepared with the proper tools to end the vicious cycles of depression, worry and frustration. Let me tell you what I did:

I decided to open my heart to something different.

Coming from a strong religious background, I had to be careful of what I would open myself up to. I just knew it had to be different from what I was already comfortable with. We go to the services, we do the chants, we walk the walk, but there is still something that tends to tug at the heart, looking for more fulfillment. I was ready to deal with all that tugging for the first time in my life. Again, going into 2016 meant being ready for me and for my business because I’m ready for change.

I’d like to introduce you to a tool I used to help me bounce back and get to work. It’s done many things for me that can’t be contained in this blog, but I’ll try to disclose as much as possible.

Who are you?

The Reminder holds up a huge mirror in front of you and asks you to take a look. Some of us already know and are hesitant to take that look, but others are sincerely searching and want to know – whether it’s good or bad. Reading this book caused me to ask myself questions I’ve never asked before. It caused me to dig, which is something a lot of people don’t take the time to do. Instead, we caught up in our daily activities, trying to impress this person or that group, doing things that don’t amount to much at all. That unfilled hollowness becomes bigger and harder to carry. I know it did for me so once I picked up this book and started reading it, I was intrigued because it forced to look in the mirror and ASK.Wonderlane, flickr

Your foundation

The foundation in our lives is what sets certain things in motion, especially as adults. My love for writing and the encouragement and support from teachers as a child plays a part in my freelance writing today. But what about the hiccups and roadblocks of our lives? What is the source of these things? The Reminder takes you on a journey of self-exploration where the answers to questions about yourself may surprise and motivate you to embrace who you REALLY are. Reading this book will help you discover your original blueprint!

QUIET POWER, GRACEFUL POWER, FORGIVING POWER. IT TAKES PRACTICE. IT TAKES GUTS

That deep breath

That moment where you have to catch yourself, close your eyes and take that deep breath is beautifully defined in this book, as Huh points out those every day triggers that can make or break us if we let them. She recognizes that the challenges we face in life are real, but can be dealt with and contribute to the betterment of us as we learn and grow to be the beautiful beings we were created to be.

This is beyond the typical “self-help” book. It’s a gift from Above to remind us that we are special, and we have what it takes to overcome. We just have to start from within to get things rolling!

Please don’t hesitate to get your copy of this wonderful book! And I’m not the only one who can’t stop talking about this powerful tool! Check out another reader’s experience here!
